Free Data Search Service

BRERC routinely uploads the majority of our species data to the NBN Gateway. Anyone can access BRERC data to 1km resolution via the NBN Gateway website. You can Download a guide to accessing BRERC information on the NBN Gateway, which will allow you to see details of individual records, produce distribution maps and study other accompanying data.

How to Search for BRERC Data on the NBN Gateway

• Read the notes below. Answers to the majority of questions are contained within the explanations.
• Use the Non-Commericial Charging Calculator to work out how much your enquiry will cost and then download and complete an Enquiry Search Agreement Form.
• If you wish to ascertain if the charge is correct, you are including enough information, or if you qualify for an exemption, please contact us by e-mail or telephone before proceeding.
• Post the details of your enquiry to us. Make sure you include:
• 1. A completed Enquiry Search Agreement Form
• 2. Map showing the boundaries of the search area
• 3. A cheque to cover the cost of performing the data search
• Upon reciept of these details, we will ensure the data will be with you within ten working days - often sooner.
