The map below shows the area over which BRERC collects and accepts wildlife records. The area we cover was formerly known as 'Avon' and is now comprised of the modern 'Unitary Authorities' of Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath & North East Somerset.
We also accept records up to approximately one kilometre from the boundaries shown. Any records which do not fall within our boundaries are passed onto the relevant Local Record Centre.
